When you open this guide, you will be prompted to add it to your phone’s home screen. This is highly recommended as you will be able to access our guide offline and have all the necessary information at your fingertips - no Internet needed. You do not have to download an app or create an account, you just have to save the site and you will see a shortcut on your mobile home screen which looks just like an app.

Android device

1. Tap the Add to Home Screen button.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install.
3. Wait a few seconds for your app to install and begin browsing.

iOS device

1. Tap the Share button at the browser options at the bottom of your screen.
2. From the options, tap the Add to Home Screen option. An icon or a screenshot of the website will immediately appear on your home screen.

Please note, offline app functionality is not supported by all devices.

Food

Please remember that all AfriCamps locations are self-catering. If you are not ordering our meal baskets, please make sure you pack your meals, and everything needed to cook them. We provide salt and pepper, but any other spices, sauces and cooking oil must be packed.

Firewood

Firewood is for sale at all our camps, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Swimming towels

AfriCamps provides towels, but guests are asked to please bring their own swimming towels for the swimming pool.        

Cooler box

Each tent has a bar fridge that should suffice for a weekend. If you will need more fridge space, it is advised to bring an extra cooler box or camp fridge to store your food and drinks, especially in the warmer months.

The farm road leading to the camp is quite sandy and may require a high-clearance vehicle. Travelling in low profile vehicles is not advised. Please drive slowly.
